The school of management is a
newest school in Tokyo University of Science. The school was
established at Kuki, Saitama Prefecture, in 1993. Known as
TUS KUKI, it adopts an original approach to management
studies. The main role of management is to make strategic
decisions regarding resource allocation, to adopt to recent
rapid changes in the economic and social environment, and to
control the effective and efficient use of resources. The
school's policy is to train students to identify, analyze
and solve management problems from a global perspective.
The undergraduate program of
the School offers students a variety of courses which give
them a good grasp of a body of knowledge and techniques
useful in management. The teaching/studying system places
great emphasis on mathematical/quantitative methods and
positive studies and helps students prepare for
qualifications, such as those for certified public
accountants, and tax and computer specialists.
Students are provided with a
wide range of options in setting up their own study
programs. Fields of study are as follows:
